Pete’s mother, Holly Thomas succumbed to her battle with brain cancer in March 2019. Her late great-grandmother was a teacher who died two weeks later.

To help celebrate Pete’s milestone, Nike named her an HBCU Yard Runner for Texas Southern University.

The 26-year-old took photos with the TSU’s faculty and president Dr. Lesia Crumpton-Young.

Immediately after graduating, the “Body” artist revealed the next goal that she wants to accomplish.

“I really wanted to be an administrator over a hospital, but I knew I still wanted to be Megan Thee Stallion.
