Baked Beans recipe, Just Eats 528

  • 1/2 smoked brisket cut into 1⁄2 inch chunks
  • 2 cups of dried navy beans (soaked overnight drained)
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 6 cloves of garlic smashed
  • 1 tbs mustard powder
  • 1⁄2 tbs smoked paprika
  • 1⁄2 tbs chili powder
  • 1⁄4 cup molasses
  • 1 1⁄2 cups of chicken stock
  • 1⁄2 cup of hot water
  • 1 tbs olive oil


  1. Pre-heat an oven to 350 degrees
  2. Place an oven safe Dutch oven coated with olive oil over medium high heat.
  3. Add the onions garlic, smoked paprika, chili powder, and mustard powder, mix well and cook down for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Next add the soaked beans, chicken stock, and molasses into the pot, and mix well. Add the hot water and smoked meat, mix well and cover dutch oven with a lid and place in the oven for 45 minutes until the beans are bubbling and liquid has thickened.
