From Barack Obama, to Yara Shahidi, H.E.R., Lebron James, Lena Waithe, and more, celebrities are honoring the Class of 2020 in a major way.
The coronavirus pandemic may have prompted the cancellation of high school graduation ceremonies, but Lebron James has teamed up with XQ Institute, the Entertainment Industry Foundation Partner, and a few of his celebrity friends. Together, they will honor more than 3 million high school seniors across the country with a special event, Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020.
The hour-long media event with feature a commencement speech from former President Barack Obama, in addition to remarks from Yara Shahidi, Lena Waithe, and more.

And, if the commencement speaker lineup isn’t enough, the 2020 class will be serenaded with performances from H.E.R., Pharrell, and more.
