Launched in January 2019, CLEO TV (stylized as CLEOTV) is an aspirational lifestyle and entertainment cable network targeting Millennial and Gen X women of color. It serves as a complement to TV One.
Derived from the name Cleopatra, one of the most powerful, trendsetting, rule-breaking, and iconic women in history, CLEO TV offers quality content that defies negative and cultural stereotypes of today’s modern women. With a bold, fearless, and fresh take, CLEO TV gives multicultural young women a destination for content centered around travel, home design, relationships, finances, cooking, talk shows, movies, docu-series, sitcoms, and much more.
The network offers a unique and diverse lineup of short and long-form programming that reflects this generation’s multifaceted interests. Shows include Just Eats with Chef JJ, New Soul Kitchen, CLEO Speaks, Living by Design, All Things Adrienne with Adrienne Houghton, and Heart of the Batter with Jordin Sparks.
CLEO TV is solely owned by Urban One, the largest multimedia company in the country, primarily targeting Black, urban and millennial audiences.
