You might remember Parker McKenna Posey from her role as Kady Kyle on “My Wife And Kids,” but last year, news broke that the actress was abused by her then-boyfriend, Chris Sails after a physical altercation. Now, he has been banned from social media usage, reports The Blast, which might be a little difficult for Sails since he is a YouTuber.
According to a Texas judge, Chris is not allowed to use YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or any other platform while out on bond. He is also not allowed to leave the state, and by the end of the month, his location will be monitored by GPS.
Posey’s ex was arrested in October for allegedly assaulting her in their former apartment together in Houston, according to The Daily Mail. She told authorities he punched and slapped her in the face several times, strangled her, slammed her head on the ground, and gave her a black eye and bruises. According to criminal documents, the influencer was accused of third-degree felony assault.
After getting a restraining order granted, which required him to stay at least 200 feet away from her, the 23-year-old, took to Twitter to thank her fans for their support.
While Parker’s abuser is set to appear in court next month, she is continuing to get her career back on track. The L.A. Native is set to star in BET’s hour-long scripted drama series, Games People Play with Lauren London and Jackie Long, which is set to premiere sometime this year.
