Honestly, what can’t Zendaya do?! The 22-year-old just became the newest and one of the youngest ever ambassadors, according to Teen Vogue, for the beauty brand, Lancôme. Normally, the cosmetic house is usually associated with older, “more mature” women, but the singer is shaking things up.


“Today, we are happy to announce we have a new member joining our family,” said Françoise Lehmann, Lancôme global brand president, in a press release. “She is young but wise beyond her years. Zendaya brings a youthful and a unique approach to beauty that perfectly complements Lancôme’s vision and creativity.” And even fellow representative, Lupita Nyong’o welcomed the young star into the family:


As for the “The Greatest Showman” actress, this opportunity is a long time coming: “It’s a huge honor to be able to represent a brand like Lancôme and join such an incredible lineup of iconic women. It’s so humbling to stand next to these beautiful women and be part of this brand that I’ve known since I was a little girl as a symbol of elegance.”

But let’s not act as if this comes as a surprise for the natural beauty. In 2016, she was a part of CoverGirl’s “Easy, Breezy, Beautiful” campaign, reports Refinery29, and now, her leap into a more sophisticated venture absolutely fits her, and the trajectory of her career. Look at these flawless makeup moments she’s had in the past:

Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Taylor Hill and Penelope Cruz are also faces of the brand. But what makes the former Disney star’s addition to the roster that much more special is that she’s the second black celebrity ambassador for Lancôme. In 2014, Nyong’o became the first, according to Buzzfeed.

It’s no secret that 2019 is the actress’ year! She’s set to star in the upcoming film, “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” and the HBO series, Euphoria. Not to mention, she’s killing the fashion game, per usual, as the new fashion global brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger. Her Tommy x Zendaya capsule collection is set to debut on March 2 during Paris Fashion Week.

There’s no arena she doesn’t touch that isn’t successful.
