The Real Housewives and The Real have something in common — Garcelle Beauvais. The model, actress, and reality star will be filling one of the two vacant seats on The Real.

The daytime talk show has been playing musical chairs for some time now. Since Tamar Braxton’s departure, we’ve seen many people guest-host, including Amanda Seales who, last season, joined co-hosts Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Adrienne Houghton as an official seat at the table. But after only one season, Amanda decided The Real wasn’t the real enough for her and walked away from the show. A few months later, Tamera announced that she would be leaving the show as well.

Exit Tamera and Amanda, and enter Garcelle.

Posted to the show’s Instagram account, they wrote, “We’ve seen your comments, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce @garcelle as our newest host! ‘I am thrilled to be joining the dynamic, bold, and diverse women on the award-winning talk show The Real. My love for pop culture and news blended with my natural gift of gab has always made me gravitate towards a talk show environment. It’s also exciting that it’s happening right after my amazing time joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’”

The model is no newbie to the small screen. She’s widely remembered Jaime Foxx’s love interest, Fancy, on The Jaime Foxx Show. And, most recently, she became the first-casted Black woman on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Now with her joining The Real, it looks like we’ll be seeing more of Garcelle on the screen.
