Do you remember how you celebrated your 30th birthday?
Ayesha Curry certainly will remember the way she went into her thirties because it was quite the epic affair. The mother of three was gifted a huge surprise party over the weekend thrown by husband Steph in San Francisco.
“We’re getting me ready for something,” she said in an InstaStory before getting to the party, adding, “not used to surprises.”
We’re not 100 percent sure what the theme was (all the guests were dressed differently), but it seemed to be a dancehall fête, as Ayesha is Jamaican, dancehall tunes were played and “Walking Trophy” singer Hood Celebrityy was there. The birthday girl and her hubby wore Versace and turned all the way up, as they were captured on camera happily grinding on one another. It was both hilarious and adorable at the same time:

High-profile guests were also in attendance, including Gabrielle Union, Tamera Mowry and actress Jessica Alba. Union shared some well-wishes for the birthday girl on Instagram.
“So glad we could sneak up to the Bay and surprise you!” she wrote. “S/O to @stephencurry30 for keeping her laughing and smiling and on the dance floor all night and that bomb a– food!!! Good times!! Until the next adventure.”
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the moment of the night was Steph taking some time out during the party to give a speech to his wife. He let her know how loved she is by not just him, but all of the people present to partake in the festivities.
“We talk a lot about speaking things into existence, about what you’re going to do in your 30s and beyond, and we’re all going to be here to see and witness it firsthand,” he said. “So I’m very excited to be here with family and friends, to celebrate your life.”
The party isn’t over for Ayesha, though. She shared a photo of herself with friends as they all prepared to board a private jet to Naples, wearing “AC30” hoodies. Sounds like her 30s are off to an incredible start!
