Cardi B wasn’t lying when she said she makes money moves: “Bodak Yellow” has been certified diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America making her the first female rapper to achieve this milestone.

The 28-year-old artist’s 2017 major-label debut single has sold 10 million units. And if that wasn’t enough cause for a celebration, her single “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion is closely following suit as the song reached 5x multi-platinum status on March 3 according to the RIAA.

The award-winning artist took to Twitter to thank her fans and explain how her label surprised her with the plaque after an exhausting day of rehearsals for the Grammy Awards this Sunday.

“I know I’ve been rehearsing all day today, I’m really stressed out, my body’s aching,” she said. “At rehearsal, they said to me, ‘Yo, you gotta meet up with Atlantic execs.’ I’m like, ‘Yo I’m fucking tired like I don’t wanna talk about no Grammys, I don’t wanna talk about no album, I’m just tired.”

Good thing Cardi B went inside to see what awaited her!

Artists like JT from the City Girls and Lil Yachty took to social media to congratulate her for her historic achievement. The New York native thanked her fans on Instagram while participating in the ‘how it started vs. how it’s going’ trend by sharing an old clip of her at the studio singing along to the now diamond-certified song.
