Rihanna does not play when it comes to her coins! From her album sales to SAVAGE X FENTY wear, and Fenty Beauty domination, no one can stop her from making money, not even her own father, Ronald Fenty. The singer is suing him and his partner, Moses Joktan Perkins, for allegedly using the name “Fenty” to try and launch several ventures, including a talent development company called Fenty Entertainment.
And yes, before you ask, it’s technically his last name too…but there’s one little issue. Rih trademarked the name “Fenty” to protect her money moves, so legally, she owns it. The lawsuit states that Ronald and Moses have been asked “to cease and desist all activity and efforts to exploit Rihanna’s name and the goodwill associated with the Fenty brand.” The business partners reportedly attempted to register the Fenty name for a line of resort hotels, but was unsuccessful, according to court documents.
The Bajan beauty is also accusing her dad and his colleague of allegedly trying to represent her and book 15 performances in Latin America for $15 million without her permission. She is currently seeking a ban to stop the duo from using the Fenty name for commercial purposes, and is asking for monetary damages in the amount of $75 million.

Although there are rumors of an upcoming album from the songstress, it looks like she’s taking over as a business mogul. The island gal is currently in talks to sign a fashion deal with LVMH, the parent company to Dior, Givenchy, and Fendi. If everything goes right, this will make her the first female designer of color at the company.
