As the COVID-19 global pandemic continues to impact our nation, Radio One is coming together to pray for the leaders, the healthcare professionals on the frontlines, families whose loved ones have been diagnosed or lost due to the virus, and all Americans who are reeling furlough, layoffs and the uncertainty caused by this global pandemic.
On Good Friday, April 10 at 6:00am EST, Radio One will host the Radio One COVID-19 National Day of Prayer, #OneinPrayer featuring on-air radio personalities, Erica Campbell, host of Get Up Mornings! with Erica Campbell,Willie Moore, Jr. of the Willie Moore, Jr. Show, and Darlene McCoy, host of the Nightly Spirit with Darlene McCoy. The on-air personalities will be joined by Lecrae, DeVon Franklin, Tasha Cobbs, and other gospel music artists, pastors and special guests to pray for the world in this time.
