Recently revealing her significant other on Instagram, former child actress Keke Palmer
Recently showing off her significant other to fans on Instagram isn’t something that former child actress Keke Palmer does often.
Accrediting this West Coast rap legend of her knowledge of the dating world, the Illinois native shares that Ice Cube dropped precious jewels about dating.
While making her appearance on the show Celebrity Game Face, with actor Kevin Hart, singer Monica Denise, Palmer shares a valuable moment between herself and the “Check Yo Self” rapper on the set of the 2008 film The Longshots.
“When I was, I think, 12 years old,” she explains, “I did the Long Shots with Ice Cube. When I was on the set, I grew up in the industry, but I was starting to get older at this point. I was starting to get together.”

Continuing to share the memorable moment, the Prime-Time Emmy Award winner states “Ice Cube, he pulled me to the side,” the 28-year-old continued, “He was like, ‘Keke, I know you’re growing up, and I just want you to understand the way these men are seeing you isn’t always how you see yourself.’ And that was Ice Cube.”
While the rest of the contestants on the show agreed that the Boyz n the Hood actor gave The True Jackson star Palmer great advice, she asks them “Isn’t he the best?”
Darius Daulton Jackson, Palmer’s current boyfriend is the first person to be linked to the 28-year-old.
Last year in a Harper BAZAAR interview, the NAACP Image Award winner shared why she didn’t like to go public with her relationships.
“I don’t really do relationship stuff online, mainly because I don’t know how I would do it without looking, like, cheesy or something, you know,” said the actress. “When it comes to romance posting about it doesn’t come naturally to me, so I feel like, why force it.”
Although the Brotherly Love star has posted Jackson on social media, she didn’t address why the change of heart.
