It’s a family affair! Cardi B and Offset’s forthcoming project is aimed at the whole family. The Hip-Hop pair will appear as their own animated characters on Baby Shark’s Big Show.
The episode “The Seaweed Sway,” is scheduled to air on Nickelodeon Friday, April 15, according to a press release. The couple’s eldest child, Kulture Kiari Cephus, will also be featured in the show.
Nick Jr.’s compilation album, Sing, Dance, and Sway the Nick Jr. Way will include an original song called “The Seaweed Sway,” which will be available on all digital streaming platforms on April 8.
“I got here by doing things my own Sharki B way,” Cardi’s character exclaims in a teaser clip for the episode.
The mother of two will star as Sharki B, an aquatic pop artist with the hottest dance craze under the sea, Offset will portray the character Offshark, a cool fish with a wonderful vibe and a major Sharki fan, and Kulture will play Kulture Shark!
The three-year-old daughter is excited to attend Sharki’s big performance with her father.
Fans can watch Kulture reading a line for her character while Offset and Cardi coach her through it in behind-the-scenes footage the famous mom shared on Instagram.
“Make sure you guys and your babies check out Me & my family episode on BABYSHARK series on Nicklelodeon !!!!” she exclaimed on Instagram.
