Kanye West and Jay-Z reunite, Lauren London makes an appearance, and Mary J. Blige gives a surprise performance. From Beyonce to Cardi B, Taraji P. Henson, Tyler Perry, and more, Sean “Diddy” Combs celebrated his 50th birthday as only he would — the biggest, Blackest, most epic star-studded event at his Holmby Hills mansion in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday (Dec. 14). Invitations included a voiceover of Naomi Campbell exclaiming, “there ain’t no party like a Diddy party,” per Vanity Fair. There were three ground rules for the party: dance or don’t come, black tie means black tie, project “good vibrations.” While Diddy’s birthday was actually last month he rescheduled his party to coincide with his ex’s birthday, Kim Porter, who tragically died last year.

Lauren London

Lauren London also made an appearance. The actress recently teamed up with PUMA in a Forever Stronger collection which tributes her late ex, Nipsey Hussle.

Mary J. Blige

Sources told Page Six that around 11pm, Mary J. Blige came out and surprised the birthday boy by performing some of her hit Bad Boy songs. “There’s so much history there and everyone was into Mary. [Diddy’s] three daughters were dancing. Jay Z and Beyonce were watching. It was incredible,” a source said.
