2021 Oscars Red Carpet

The 93rd Academy Awards brought the return of the red carpet – a version of it at least – with our favorite entertainers serving the best fashionable looks in one place.

White and pink colors were trends on the carpet with Viola Davis and Tiara Thomas serving white looks, and Halle Berry and Coleman Domingo donning pink.

4. H.E.R.

Singer H.E.R. gave us a colorful moment on the red carpet in a custom look by Dundas. H.E.R. won an Oscar for Best Original Song for ‘Fight for You’ featured in the film ‘Judas and the Black Messiah.’ During her acceptance speech, she emphasized how musicians and filmmakers have the “opportunity and responsibility” to “tell the truth and write history the way that it was.” She added, “I’m always going to fight for my people.”

5. Regina King

King opened the show by walking into Los Angeles’ Union Station in a diamond-embellished baby blue Louis Vuitton gown and an Oscar in hand. Her first directorial debut for film ‘One Night in Miami’ was nominated in three categories. Leslie Odom Jr. was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Original Song, and writer Kemp Powers was up for Best Adapted Screenplay. King wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown.

Andra Day served us face, hair and abs in a glowing metallic gold gown by Vera Wang.

“Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” star and Oscar’s favorite Viola Davis wore a custom white Alexander McQueen gown with bodice cutouts. She wore jewelry by Forevermark.

‘Judas and the Black Messiah’ star Daniel Kaluuya hit the carpet in Bottega Venetta and Cartier jewelry. Kaluuya took home an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in ‘Judas and the Black Messiah.’

Singer and songwriter Tiara Thomas wore this custom white look by Jovana Louis. Thomas, who collaborated with H.E.R. on ‘Fight for You’ also took home an Oscar for Best Original Song for the song.
