With Valentine’s Day around the corner, love is definitely in the air! But, more importantly, Black Love Day is even closer!

Don’t get us wrong, we love the traditional V-Day, however, there’s nothing quite like a day dedicated to honoring Black Love. Since its inception in 1993, Black Love Day has always been observed on February 13th.

And here at CLEO TV, we want to celebrate that because let’s face it, #BlackLove is beautiful to witness. Here are some of our favorite celeb couples that make us believe in Black Love!

The Wilsons

Ciara and Russell Wilson, who have been married since 2016, are no strangers to the fact that their love is admired by many fans. People on social media still ask the mother of three for the prayer she recited to “secure” a husband like Russell.

When it comes to queries about how they keep their marriage and partnership strong and flourishing, the couple names faith as their top factor of what keeps their love strong. It’s no surprise, then, that this pair prays together.

The Shumperts

Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert’s love story blossomed most magnificently, and we adore how fans saw their relationship grow from the very beginning!

The couple first met in 2014, while they were both going through breakups from previous relationships. Taylor had some reservations at first. They did, however, become friends and eventually, much more.

The couple revealed they were expecting a daughter in September 2015, got engaged at their baby shower that fall, and welcomed their daughter in December. Five years later, the couple welcomed their second child.

And we love that for them!

Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan

When it comes to #couplegoals, we have to add this couple to our list!

Although they haven’t been together as long as the previous couples, these heartthrobs have become one of Hollywood’s “IT” couples. Despite these lovebirds keeping their relationship private, fans still adore them.

In a recent interview, Harvey shared one of the major secrets that keep the relationship strong, and healthy.

“Always communicate. Overcommunicate, even, so you are always on the same page,” the 25-year-old said. She got that solid advice from her parents, Marjorie and Steve Harvey.

The new couple celebrated their first anniversary in November 2021 and appears to be still going strong.

At the end of her interview with POPSUGAR, the entrepreneur even stated that she intends to be married and have a child within the next five years, as well as be a “true power” in the business world.

The Carters

Now when it comes to power couples, this next pair is nothing to be played with.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé  had us in a frenzy when they first started dating. They stole our hearts over the years that they’ve been together through their joint projects.

With their music and elegance, on and off stage, these two are the quintessential power couple who will never grow old.

The fact that Beyoncé and Jay-Z are still seen as “goals” in the post-Lemonade era demonstrates their ability to promote a particular picture of their marriage.

Queen Bey was playing the role of the doting wife before unleashing her scorned woman-themed album, Lemonade in which she disclosed Jay’s serial unfaithful ways.
