Baked Salmon with Shrimp Alfredo Sauce over Sautéed Spinach | Cooking Sessions

Instructions
For Salmon Spice Blend:- (4) 6oz pieces of salmon
- 3 Tbs avocado oil
- 1 Tbs Onion Powder
- 1 Tbs Garlic powder
- ½ Tbs Seasoning Salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp salt
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp finely chopped parsley
- 4 thinly sliced pieces of lemon
- Preheat oven at 350 degrees
- Cover sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside
- In a large bowl, combine avocado oil, onion power, garlic powder, season salt, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, pepper flakes, and chopped parsley and mix well.
- Place salmon portions into the spice blend and coat well. Place each piece seasoned salmon on the sheet pan that is covered with parchment paper.
- Place one slice of lemon on each piece salmon, place in the oven for 15 minutes for medium rare, 20 minutes for well-done and remove from the oven and top with alfredo sauce.

- 3 Tbs unsalted butter
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 tsp seafood bouillon base
- ½ Tbs Onion Powder
- ½ Tbs Garlic Powder
- ½ tsp finely chopped parsley
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- ½ Tbs minced garlic
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 lb. extra-large shrimp peeled and deveined
- ¼ cup of water
- Place a large skillet over medium heat, add the butter and cream cheese and allow both to soften and to melt.
- Add the seafood bouillon base and mix well. Add the onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, salt pepper flakes, cayenne pepper, and chopped parsley and mix well.
- Slowly pour in whipping cream and continue to stir until mixture begins to simmer.
- Add the shrimp to the sauce and add the water to thin out the sauce.
- Allow to simmer for 7-10minutes and serve over the salmon

- 2 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
- 1Tbs diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1½ lbs. fresh baby spinach
- ½ Tbs crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 Tbs minced shallots
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Method:
- Place a large skillet coated with olive oil over medium high heat, add the minced shallots, and allow to sauté down for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, onions, pepper, red pepper flakes and stir evenly.
- Add the fresh spinach to the pan, mix and allow the spinach to cook down for 4-5minutes, and serve along with the salmon with Alfredo sauce.
