Cajun T- Bone Steak
After discovering her respect, and love for storytelling through multimedia, Jhanaya Belle became elated with how writers can deeply move their audience. The Brooklyn native and New School alumna is keen to add her contributions to the sphere of writing and storytelling, through journalist, radio/podcast host, and screenwriting. Ingredients
- Cajun Spice Blend
- ¼ cup of Cajun seasoning
- ¼ cup of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup olive oil
- .
- For T-Bone Steak
- (2) 12 oz T-bone steaks 1 inch thick
- ½ cup blue cheese crumbles
- Kosher salt (to taste)

Instructions
In a medium bowl mix all seasoning blend ingredients together. Stir until a smooth thick paste is formed. Add additional olive oil if mixture is too thick. FOR T-BONE STEAK: Preheat grill to 400 degrees. Season T-bone steaks with salt and pepper to taste. Coat the sticks with the spice blend on both sides. Place the steak on the grill and allowed to cook for 5 minutes on each side. Remove from grill and top with blue cheese crumbles and serve.
