Instructions

Ingredients:

  • 1 box lemon cake mix2
  • 15oz cans of lemon curd
  • 3 pints of fresh blueberries
  • 1 stick of unsalted melted butter

Ingredients for Strudel Topping:

  • 1 cup Flour
  • ½ cup of packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup of finely crushed
  • Lemon head candy
  • 1 stick of unsalted butter

Method for Dump Cake:

  1. Coat the bottom of a 13-inch baking pan with butter.
  2. Add the lemon curd to the bottom of the baking dish, followed by the blueberries.
  3. Making sure all the lemon curd is covered.
  4. Top with the lemon cake mix, then smooth it out evenly over the entire baking dish. Pour the butter over the top of the cake mix. Add the strudel on top. And bake for one hour.

Method for Strudel:

  1. Whisk flour and brown sugar in a bowl. Break up any large sugar clumps.
  2. Toss in the finely crushed Lemon head candy. Stir until the candies are coated in flour. This prevents the candy from clumping together.
  3. Add the butter and mix until it is a clumpy consistency. Sprinkle it over the top of the dump cake and bake for 1 hour.
