Ingredients
- Cooking spray
- 1 tube store bought Cinnamon Rolls
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 pounds fresh OR frozen peaches, plus more for garnish
- Juice of 1 medium lemon
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 11⁄2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 1⁄2 cup Peach liqueur or Crown Royal
- 1⁄2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 cups whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease a 10-inch cast-iron pan with cooking spray.
- Open the package and lay the dough pieces around the cast-iron pan leaving a bit of space between them to allow for the dough to rise and expand.
- Bake the cinnamon rolls according to the package instructions. As the cinnamon rolls bake, prepare the peaches.
- Set another 10-inch cast iron pan over medium heat and add the butter. Add the remaining ingredients and cook, until the peaches are softened and most of the liquid has reduce by half, about 10-12 minutes.
- Set the peaches aside until the cinnamon rolls are done. Once the cinnamon rolls are done, pour the warm peaches over top the cinnamon rolls, followed by sprinkling the brown sugar over the peaches and finally placing dollops of whipped cream over the peaches.
