Sautéed Bok Choy | Just Eats With Chef JJ

Instructions

Ingredients:

  • 6 Bunches of Baby Bok Choy, cut in half
  • 1 Medium Onion Diced
  • 4 cloves smashed
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • ½ cup white wine
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil (Use less if using a nonstick pan)

Method:

  1. Place a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat and coat it with 1 tbsp of avocado oil. Once the pan is hot, lay the bok choy into the pan.
  2. Add the diced onions, smashed garlic cloves, and allow to get soft. (Add additional oil if needed.)
  3. Next season, with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, add the white wine and sesame oil, and cook down for 2–3 minutes, until golden brown. (remove from heat) and serve with the BBQ salmon and Bourbon Sweet Potatoes.
