📢 JUST ANNOUNCED: #EssenceFest is celebrating a major milestone this year— 25 years of moving the culture forward. It's only right that we do it bigger and better! We're just going to drop the 2019 lineup right here! Grab your tickets now at http://essencefestival.com. More acts to be announced. Tap the 🔗in bio for more.
Social media doesn’t have to tell you that if you’re not there, you’re missing out, sis! Just watch the movie “Girls Trip,” and it’ll have you wanting to book your ticket, like yesterday. Grab your best friends and make it a trip to remember. This year is extra special because this celebration of black culture is turning a quarter of a century old!
Some highlights that will be happening are special performances celebrating the 25th anniversary of MJB’s “My Life,” and Nas‘ “Illmatic,” as well as a live album recording by Grammy Award-winning musician PJ Morton, according to the publication’s website. The New Orleans event will also honor soul and funk singer Frankie Beverly for his lifetime contribution to music.
If you’re one of the people who always say you’re going to go, but never do, be like Nike, and just do it.
