Nicki Minaj is pregnant! She made the announcement in the cutest photo shoot which she shared on her social media page on Monday.
“Love. Marriage. Baby carriage,” she captioned in an Instagram post. “Overflowing with excitement & gratitude. Thank you all for the well wishes.”
Minaj tapped photographer David LaChapelle for the Virgin Mary-inspired shoot. Known for his bright-colored, provocative images, LaChapelle’s style compliments Minaj’s signature neon hair and bold outfits.
This isn’t the first time the pair have collaborated together. Remember the super sexy M.A.C. Viva Glam campaign she shot with singer Ricky Martin? Yep, that was a David LaChapelle shoot!
The Barbz rapper garnered over 6 million likes on her first “preggers” image with celeb friends commenting on the exciting news.
“I’m soooooooooo happy for you,” KeKe Palmer said — while Neyo said, “Congrats, mommy-to-be!” And, Saweetie said, “So beautiful.”
Minaj announced plans to retire from music and start a family in October 2019…
…around the same time she married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Petty.

The Barbz rapper surprised fans with news of her marriage to Petty in an Instagram post that read, “Onika Tanya Mirage-Petty 10/21/19.”
Fans speculated that the rapper was pregnant when she attended the 2019 Met Gala.

Then, pregnancy rumors resurfaced when she collaborated with Tekashi 6ix 9ine on the Trollz video that debuted in June 2020.
Fans’ speculations can finally be put at ease now that Minaj has revealed the exciting news. This will be her first child.
