Summer love may have been hard to find in the midst of a pandemic but Halle Berry proved to have no problems in that area. The actress revealed in September that she’s been dating singer Van Hunt for several months.
While Berry shared her new love with the world, she still left much about their relationship to the imagination. Now, a source is speaking to Us Weekly, about her alleged feelings.
“She’s had some negative experiences [with men] but Van has taught her to love again—and love herself,” the source said. “He’s a wonderful, caring man. Their chemistry is through the roof.”
Berry dropped a few hints that she was boo’d up on social media.
First, there was this post where the actress’ feet were intertwined with someone else’s feet on what looked to be a romantic birthday getaway in Las Vegas, Nevada. How cute!
Berry captioned the post, “Waking up Vegas! Thank you for all the beautiful birthday wishes from my friends and my very supportive and loyal fans! You ALL helped to make my birthday extra special.”
Then, there was this post of her and her boo wearing masks. How mysterious!
And, for Halloween, she posted a romantic, spooky scene. Berry simply captioned the post, “Don’t know who the hell we supposed to be, but we doing it! Happy Halloween!”
Back in February 2017, the actress opened up at the City Summit & Gala about finding a soulmate after three “failed marriages.”
“I have learned to deal with three failed marriages, which has not been easy, especially when there’s children involved,” Berry said. “[As] women, we go into marriage thinking it’s going to last forever and that this is our prince on a shiny horse. That’s what fairy-tales taught me as a kid…and I’m kind of anti-fairy tales today.”
She added, “All of those relationships were necessary for me. We all come here with lessons that we have to learn, and those relationships provided me with lessons that got me to where I am right now. For that, I’m grateful. But it has been hard. It’s been a difficult part of my life.”
We know a thing or two about Halle Berry’s previous relationships.

There was her first marriage to MLB player David Justice. There were claims that Justice had been physically abusive during their relationship. He denied the claims.
Sadly, Justice and another one of Berry’s exes, Eric Benet, linked up to talk trash about Berry on social media in a move that only served to embarrass them.
You may remember Berry’s marriage to Eric Benet ended because of his infidelity and the claims that he was a sex addict. Years later, after the end of the relationship, he also denied that claim.
Berry had her first child, 12-year-old Nahla, with longtime boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. Their relationship ended terribly— with Berry eventually accusing him of harboring racist thoughts toward their daughter, refusing to acknowledge that she was biracial, and using racial epithets during their relationship. She even alleged he had an incestuous relationship while he was in foster care — a whole mess. Plus, we can’t forget that her next beau, Olivier Martinez, rocked him when he sought to cause some trouble on Thanksgiving Day.
There were a few short-lived relationships in between, specifically one with Alex Da Kid. But, Van Hunt seems to be the one with whom Halle Berry is ready to share—at least partially—the world.
