So, The Best Man 3 may not be heading to the big screen but there’s still hope. In an interview on The Talk, Taye Diggs revealed The Best Man 3 may be turned into a television series.
“ I do think it will happen. We’ve all been in discussions with the director, Malcolm Lee. I think it might end up being a TV series, maybe on a streaming platform,” Diggs said. “But the script has already been written. So we’ll see. I’m just waiting on Malcolm Lee.”

The Best Man 1 was debuted in 1999 and grossed $34 million on a budget of $9 million. While the sequel, The Best Man Holiday, debuted in 2013 and grossed $71 million worldwide.
Should the third installment of The Best Man hit the TV screen, can we expect to see stars from the previous installments — Morris Chestnut, Nia Long, Monica Calhoun, Regina Hall, Sanaa Lathan, Terrence Howard, Harold Perrineau, and Melissa De Sousa?
