Lori Harvey, step-daughter of comedian Steve Harvey, pleaded not guilty in a hit-and-run case this week.
An attorney for Lori entered the plea in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, PEOPLE reported.
Lori is due in court on Feb. 28 for a pretrial hearing.
Lori was arrested in October after allegedly crashing her car into a parked vehicle in Los Angeles and then attempting to flee the scene. According to authorities, a witness identified Lori as the driver who walked away from the scene of the accident. Lori’s car was flipped on its side, and the parked vehicle was unoccupied.
According to authorities, “Harvey left the scene of the collision without providing her information or contacting police as required by law, and caused a delay in the police investigation.”
Last week, the 23-year-old model was charged with two misdemeanors — hit-and-run and obstructing/delaying a police officer — concerning the incident.
No injuries were reported.
