Sauteed Broccoli with Onions and Garlic

Instructions

Ingredients:

  • 1- 2 lb bunch of fresh broccoli
  • ½ stick of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of fresh chopped garlic
  • 1 medium onion thinly sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
Method:
  1. Place a medium - large stock pot filled with water over medium high heat and bring water to a boil. Add salt to the water and place broccoli into the pot and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes.
  2. While broccoli is cooking, place a large skillet over medium-high heat, add butter, onions, and garlic, and let that cook down for 2 minutes.
  3. Next, remove the broccoli from the hot water, and allow excess water the drain off and place broccoli, into the hot skillet and sauté with the onions and garlic for 2 minutes and serve.
