Congratulations may be in order! Actress and comedian, Amanda Seales reportedly has been tapped to join the Emmy Award-winning daytime television show, “The Real.”  After serving several times as a guest, Seales allegedly will become a permanent fifth co-host on the show, joining Adrienne Houghton, Jeannie Mai, Loni Love, and Tamera Mowry-Housley

“She guest co-hosted on the show for a while and they loved her,” a source told The Jasmine Brand. “She really connected with the audience!”

“The Real” originally started out with five hosts: Adrienne, Jeannie, Loni, Tamera, and former co-host, Tamar Braxton. After season two, the show decided to move in a different direction and didn’t renew Tamar’s contract, leaving the fifth seat vacant. During that time, various celebrities guest-hosted the show including Remy Ma, Eve, Eva Marcille, Monica, Angie Martinez, and Ashanti.

“Everyone is really excited about her coming on,” the source added.

Seales reportedly will begin her new gig in 2020. “The Real,” which premiered back in 2013, has already been renewed for their seventh and eighth seasons.

Seales is also gearing up for the return of HBO’s “Insecure,” which just wrapped up filming for the fourth season.
