Flavored Rice | Just Eats with Chef JJ
Ingredients
- 1 cup of rice
- 1⁄2 cup diced carrots
- 1⁄2 cup diced onions
- 1⁄2 cup finely diced celery
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 2 cups of water
- Salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place a medium sized pot coated with olive oil over medium high heat.
- Add the carrots, onions and celery and mix well. Next add the rice into the pot and stir, allowing the rice to heated through and a little toasted.
- Add the water and mix well, reduce the heat to medium low and cover with a lid and allow the rice to cook for 15-20 minutes until tender. Salt and pepper to taste and enjoy.
