With her three Grammy Award snags and her bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from Texas Southern University, our Hot Girl leader, Megan Thee Stallion, had an exciting year in 2021!

Megan Thee Stallion says she feels “accomplished” to have graduated from a Historically Black College and University, leaving a legacy for others to follow, in a recent interview with Billboard.

“I really feel like I did something that was very prestigious. I feel like I’m making all of the women in my family proud,” the Texas native explained. “All the women in my family went to HBCUs. I’m just going down the legacy of doing the same thing of fully college-educated women.”

The 26-year-old explained how she felt the need to finish earning her education despite having a hectic period in her life.

In the life of being a hot artist and balancing student life, life can be “chaotic.” However, Megan swore to finish her degree in honor of her mother, Holly Thomas, who died in March 2019 after a fight with brain cancer, and her grandmother, who died just weeks after her mother.

“I definitely just had to keep making them proud, and I had to make myself proud. I had to prove to myself that I can finish it, and I did even in the middle of my chaotic life.”

To give her the rest of the hotties confidence to continue following their dreams despite hard times.

“I just also wanted to show the Hotties that you can do whatever you put your mind to. So I’m super proud to have graduated from an HBCU.”

To achieve more goals that she’s set for herself, the recent college graduate uses manifestation techniques.

After signing a deal with Netflix, she will soon be able to add director to her portfolio.

“I’m definitely manifesting that I will get these buildings together to open up my assisted-living facilities. I already manifested my Netflix deal, so you will see the results of my manifestations from that,” she said.

We are so proud of Meg! And shout out to all of the future college graduates!
